Who may apply?

 

SALEAF will consider all applications from South African citizens of Lebanese descent who have a real financial need and are applying to enrol at a tertiary institution.

 

Apply for What?

 

If eligible, a Bursary or a Repayable Loan, depending on individual circumstances

 

For How Long?

 

A successful application will be relevant to a period of one year of study. A new application must be made, within the deadlines set by SALEAF, should the applicant require funding for a following year of study.

 

Candidates who have received assistance from SALEAF during a previous year of study, will be considered prior to any new applicants, subject to a re-evaluation of their academic results as well as their financial circumstances.

 

The Selection Process

 

Candidates who are interested in applying for a SALEAF Bursary or Loan have to submit their application in the attached  Application Form and email the form to applications@saleaf.co.za

All  applications will be considered and applicants will be notified via email of the outcome.

 

All shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview to be conducted by the SALEAF Selection Panel, at which time they are required to submit the relevant supporting information . A Psychometric Assessment will be conducted as part of the final selection process.
